Aldacer Stonegazer
A young, by dwarf standards, stonemason, and a promising mage, Aldacer is the only known survivor of the very recent massacre of Dwaelvinstad. He keeps tight-lipped about his past before the disaster, and will often try to not even claim descent from the Hold, which is quite rare and odd for one of his race.
Appearance
A squat 4'8", and broad for a dwarf, Aldacer is possessed of mossy green eyes and fiery red hair. Both beard and head have thick locks of red, and he is known to be quite vain about braiding his beard just so in the mornings. Boastful, gregarious, and quick to laugh, he is rarely seen in a foul mood unless at too much to drink, or Dwaelvinstad is mentioned. Though not prone to wearing it, he has a beautifully crafted set of plate armor and a large greataxe, though he more often is seen in leathers with a simple bearded axe and long-knife. Also always carries a book chained to his side that he will frequently read from in rare idle hours.
Skills and Abilities
- Stonemason - A master by any measure, Aldacer has a knowledge of stone and the land surpassed by few. An innate connection that makes various Earth magics and particularly runic charms in such, as incredibly powerful.
- Mage - His talents seem broadly connected to the Element of Earth, centered around stock and stone. Dwaelvinstad was famed for Stonemages, though secretive they were and rare to be outside of their homes. He was one such mage.
Personality
Quick to laugh, to make jokes, quick to anger and quick to forget. Mistrustful of Orcs and Lycans, very uneasy around Dryads and nature spirits. Borderline dismissive of Fae. Prone to rare black moods of depression and violence.
